How to publish a web page using HTML Egg (Mac Edition)?
HTML Egg has a built in FTP uploader. This means you can easily design and publish to your own web host all within the HTML Egg App!

To publish in HTML Egg, please follow these steps:

1. Launch the HTML Egg App

2. Open the web page you wish to publish

3. Configure your FTP Settings (you only need to do this once)

On the toolbar, click on the "Settings" button and complete your FTP account details as provided by your web host.

Make sure to complete the website base URL as well, this will allow HTML Egg to automatically generate a link to your web page after it's published.

To verify all FTP settings are completed correctly, you may wish to run a test by clicking on the "Test" button.

Click on "Save and Close" to exit the FTP settings screen.

4. On the toolbar, click on the "Publish" button and wait for a confirmation that the page has been uploaded successfully. Depending on images used on the page and the internet speed, the publish process may take a little whole, please be patient.

5. After the page upload is done, you will be provided with the URL to your newly published page. Click on the "Launch in web browser" button to view the new page.

If the upload process run into any errors, you will be provided with a "View Connection Log" button that will help you troubleshoot. The most common error is a mistyped FTP username or password.
