How do I embed a YouTube video to my web page?
Embedding a YouTube video into your HTML Egg web page is really simple.

Here are step by step instructions for two options.

Method 1 uses a built in template from HTML Egg, method 2 leverages official instructions from YouTube and provides more customization options.

Method 1:
Steps for method 1 is shown in the demo video below.

Step 1. Retrieve the share-able URL:
Open the video you wish to embed on YouTube. Click / tap on the "Share" button, copy the share-able URL.
The URL will be in a format similar to:
http://youtu.be/XfnanX1Rv7Q

The segment after http://youtu.be is your video ID. Select and copy it. In this example, our video ID is "XfnanX1Rv7Q"

Step 2. Open your web page in HTML Egg, add a new HTML Snippet

Step 3. In the Snippet templates, choose "YouTube Video"

Step 4. Replace the video ID in the snippet template with the video ID copied from step 1.

Sample snippet code:
<iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/REPLACE_WITH_VIDEO_ID" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Move the snippet to where you wish the video to play on the page.

And you're done! If you want to be more creative and wish to update the video size or do more customizations, please follow instructions in step 2 below.

Method 2:

Step 1. Prepare and copy code as per instructions on the following official support page from YouTube:

Step 3. "Double tap" on the HTML Snippet to launch the keyboard, paste in the code from step 1. Move the snippet to where you wish the video to play on the page. And you are done!
